Jo Ann Clifton Student Award

This award is intended to promote participation in the SLA Annual Conference by an exceptional library science student.  The award recipient will receive a 1-year student membership in SLA and expenses to attend the annual conference in San Diego!  Submissions are due Thursday, February 28.  http://bit.ly/CliftonSLA

Grieg Aspnes Outstanding IT Member Award

Do you know someone whose contributions to IT should be recognized? Please consider nominating an outstanding SLA IT Division member for the 2013 Grieg Aspnes Outstanding IT Member Award. Outstanding Chapter Technology Programming Award

SLA’s IT Division is again looking for the most inspired, cutting edge, and innovative chapter technology programming of the 2012-2013 programming year!  The Outstanding Chapter Technology Programming Award will be presented at the 2013 Annual Conference in San Diego. The award will consist of an electronic certificate for display on your web page as well as $500 in seed money to develop further technology programming.  Submissions are due Friday, March 15. http://bit.ly/ITprogramSLA
