Section Scope: The Web Management Section provides a forum for members to exchange information on planning, designing, programming and managing complex organizational web sites to support the information management needs of their organizations, whether on the Internet, Intranets, or Extranets. Section interests include website management and staffing, information architecture, web design principles, user experience design, web content life cycle management, metrics, website usage pattern analysis, search engine optimization, support for searching and resource discovery by website users, tools to build online communities, website management software including web content management systems, web security and privacy, server software, and programming and scripting languages.
