Welcome Henry Mensch

by Virginia Mattingly, b/ITe Editor (Published December 4, 2012)

Please join me in welcoming Henry Mensch, who will replace me as the b/ITe editor in 2013!

Here’s a little info about Henry:

I’m a second-year student at the Syracuse University iSchool working toward my MSLIS. My work includes concentrations in Digital Libraries and Data Science. I live in San Francisco and, in having a full spring semester up ahead, am starting to shop for a virtual internship to start late in the Spring/Summer/Autumn in any of the broad areas identified above. During the day I’m the Systems and Storage Manager for a MRI lab where we study brain imaging with the latest techniques in order to investigate the cause, progression, and effects of neurodegenerative disease, and to develop early diagnoses, treatments, and methods for early detection. Here are some interesting images from our work. I am owned by four cats and am a licensed amateur radio operator. I’m always open to correspondence.
